The movie begins with Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark, who won the 74th hunger games, return to their home in District 12. After making everyone proud with the victory and also after the confession of their love for each other, they are happy with their lives. But one day, President Snow comes to Katniss’ house and makes a deal with her to not to lie to each other.
Snow says that her Actions in the hunger games have inspired too many rebellions all over the districts. He orders her to prove him that all her Actions in the hunger games had been just for her love for Peeta and they were not to rebel with the capitol. If she failed to convince him, then all her loved ones will have to lose their lives. They are Warned by their mentor to show off their relationship all the time or else they will be landing in trouble.
