The plot of the Comedy film "The Guilt Trip" young chemist Andy Brewster invented a new and very effective cleanser that will earn good money if it advertise. Andy is going to in promotional tour across the country to present your product in different States, but stops before the trip to his mother. In early childhood the guy lost his father, and his mother Joyce strongly saved by his kid and continues to do so, despite the fact that the kid has become a man.
After her husband's death, Joyce and did not go out on dates and had not found a good man. Loneliness the mother presses Andy, he invites her to go with him in the promotional tour. But Andy never even suspected that a joint trip with his mother proves to be a curse, which will lead to a lot of interesting situations.
